Using Azure Access Control Server with iOS and android?

Jul 13, 2011 at 7:05 PM

I am writing an application that will be using AppFabric Services such as

  • SQLAzure
  • WCF
  • Chaching and
  • ASP.net Website.

I would like to add all mobile platforms to the WCF service ( WP7, iOS, Android) and using the correct Authentication structure seems critical.

I really like what I have seen from Azure's Access Control Server (ACS), but I am unsure if I can use it across iOS or Android environments.  I haven't found any forms or user comments discussing such, so I was wondering what everyone knows about the subject.

thanks in advance :)

We are very close to publishing guidance for this very scenario.  Nothing I can share with you right now, but I'll be sure to follow-up on this thread when it's available.  Thanks!

Thanks for your quick response.  I am looking forward to this as I'm sure many would love to use Everything Azure for the base, and then write alternate clients as needed.

Any idea when this guidance will be finalized?
